An excellent quality mahogany antique stick barometer.
The rectangular silvered brass scale calibrated from 27" to 31" with sliding vernier. The thermometer calibrated from 0º to 100º Fahrenheit. The mahogany case with boxwood and ebony edge stringing throughout, exposed mercury tube and turned cistern cover to the base inlaid again with boxwood and ebony and mother of pearl detail to the centre . The glazed access door with broken architectural pediment above with central brass finial.
