The 8" diameter silvered brass scale calibrated from 28" to 31" with glazed concave brass bezel. The silvered brass thermometer scale calibrated from 0º to 130º Fahrenheit.

The mahogany case inlaid with shells and with boxwood edge stringing. The broken architectural top with central brass finial.
