Antique Bracket Clock by Beaumont of Margate
A fine lancet top mahogany table/bracket clock.
The 8 day duration double fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking and repeating the hour on a bell. The backplate with border engraving and makers name. The mahogany lancet shaped case with ebony line inlay, gothic brass frets, side carrying handles and standing on four brass ball feet.
Note: The movement is stamped Holmden - London. John George Holmden was the foremost movement maker for Benjamin Lewis Vulliamy.
