The rare 9" diameter silvered brass scale calibrated from 28" to 31" and engraved with usual weather indications. The glazed cover with concave cast brass bezel.

The mahogany case with zebra edge stringing, crossbanded sides and inlaid with oak leaves and patterns to the top and bottom. The broken architectural top with central brass acorn finial.
