An excellent Month duration walnut longcase clock by this well known maker.

The one month duration 5 pillar movement with rack hourly striking on a bell. The arched brass dial with silvered brass chapter ring enclosed by ‘Tompion’ spandrels and showing both seconds and date. A Strike/Silent lever operates above XII. The unusual Dutch style slim walnut case with long trunk door and base with well figured veneers to both. Standing on a plinth with spherical front feet. The hood with brass capped attached angle pillars with ornate top and blind sound fret. The unusual style of this case was often used by this maker.
