Antique Skeleton Clocks
Skeleton clocks were made in the 19th century and are normally fixed to an ebonised, wooden or marble base and protected by a glass dome. They were made in different sizes and some of them depicted Cathedrals such as York Minster and also the Scott Memorial. They were made so the user could view all the wheels and levers in action. They were a real Showpiece to have and no doubt they were shown off at dinner parties with much excitement.
All of our clocks are fully restored and guaranteed for 12 months. Each clock is carefully selected for proportions, quality and originalilty. Audio files are also made available where applicable.
