An excellent black chinoiserie lacquer longcase clock.

The 8 day duration 5 pillar movement striking the hours on a bell. The 12" arched brass dial with separate silvered brass chapter ring and showing both seconds and date on a matted centre. The makers name on a cartouche to the arch. The black lacquer case with well preserved gilt chinoiseries showing figures, buildings, a ship and a mounted warrior to the base.
