An excellent George III green lacquer longcase clock.

The 8 day duration 5 pillar movement with anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell. The 12" arched brass dial with separate silvered brass chapter ring and showing seconds, date and strike/silent feature to the arch.

The dark green lacquered case with typical chinoiseries to both trunk door and base. The hood with pagoda top surmounted with three brass finials.
